As a part of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), this project is to modernize the existing client-server application to a modern web application. The application will be hosted on HCR''s existing infrastructure at the NYS Data Center and administered through a common code framework that is supported by more staff.
Re-plat forming will centralize the data and eliminate the import/export process that currently exists.
A web-based version of the system would provide much efficiency for HCR.
We are seeking a Web Developer with expertise in developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular 6, HTML5, CSS3 and ASP.NET Web API NET CoreThe candidate will work with Information Technology Services (ITS) staff that support HCR to create a pattern for developing SPAs in Angular 6 for future projects. The candidate’s primary responsibilities are to:
Design, collaborate, write code and unit tests; review other developers’ code and participate in every aspect of the development process.

Candidates should have at least 84 months experience and a majority of the following should apply:

1. 84 Months experience in software design and development of enterprise-level web applications using Microsoft technologies. #of months 20
2. 24 Months experience creating Single Page Applications in Angular version 2 or greater using Typescript. #of months 20
3. 84 Months experience creating responsive, mobile-first user interfaces using Twitter Bootstrap. #of months 10
4. 60 Months experience creating WCAG 2.0 compliant applications. #of months 10
5. 24 Months experience creating unit-tests in Angular version 2 or greater using Karma and Jasmine. #of months 10
6. 12 Months experience with PWA concepts like PRPL pattern, service workers, server-side rendering, first load experience, and caching; and performance monitoring tools like Lighthouse. #of months 10
