Job Description:
The Worker must be able to analyze, design, develop, and implement SQL queries and scripts to extract and transform data from a legacy MS Access database in preparation for loading to cloud platform database (NetSuite/Oracle The selected Worker will be responsible for working with business unit and technical project team members in identifying and defining relevant data elements and data structure.
The Worker will:
Work with business to analyze and define existing legacy data architecture.
Write and execute queries and export jobs to extract proper data.
Work with technical project team to transform data for load to cloud database platform.
The Worker may be required to provide services that include assignments during maintenance windows, which usually involve weekends and evenings.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Analyze database dependencies and key elements.
Create and execute SQL queries and scripts for the extraction and transformation of data from MS Access legacy system.
Cleanse and normalize data for import.
Knowledge and experience with MS Access.
Create data reports.
Must follow agency database standards and guidelines.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 SQL Server database administration
5 MS Access database administration
5 SQL scripting and queries
4 Working experience with interaction and communication with both technical and business division personnel
3 Experience with and working knowledge of highly complex application security requirements

3 Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products
3 Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government
