Position: MQ Developer and Infrastructure Engineer

Skills Required :
12 years’ experience in a similar role in a large enterprise.
- Proven experience in Installation, upgradation, migration automation, performance tuning, configuring security, monitoring of MQ systems and platform integration in a large enterprise Linux-based environment.
- Providing technical assistance to the entire customer staff of developers, operators and administrators during MQ Migration.
- Experience in developing MQ custom exits
- Experience in compiling MQ API’s and code changes for MQ V9
- Experience is developing custom API’s and migration of custom api to fit new MQ features.
- Experience in MQ installation automation and configuration
- Experience in WebSphere MQ runtime topologies and architecture, MQ migrations.
- Experience in High Availability, Disaster Recovery, MQ clustering and failover automation.
- Experience in Distributed Operating Systems ( Linux )
- Deep technical understanding of the Linux OS, networking, storage (SAN/NAS) and LDAP.
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting application issues on the network (WireShark, etc
- Linux shell scripting, PERL and/or Python.
- Ability to write technical and operational documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational run-books)
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- MQ Certified System Administration v9.0
- IBM Certified Solution Designer - MQ V8.0
Skills Desired:
Experience in the features and functionality of IBM MQ
- Clustering technologies.
- Hadoop Ecosystem
- Experience with web technologies, troubleshooting them as it relates to the OS and the network.
- Installation and packaging of applications
