Position : MDM/PIM Consultant
Location : Atlanta, GA
Duration of contract : 6 Months
Job Description:
Conduct requirements gathering, design, build, test, and documentation activities for packaged software applications. Work under the direction of a manager or supervisor as part of a team to deliver large-scale business solutions or enhancement projects. Responsible for configuration of a solution for an entire business function or process.
*Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
+ Gathers detailed requirements from business users for whole business processes and/or functions on approved projects
+ Performs design and development for whole business processes and/or functions on approved projects and on enhancements to existing projects.
+ Performs program configuration/modification and set-up activities
+ Identifies impacts to business resulting from newly configured or improved business functionality.
+ Implements integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business client.
+ Prepares System Requirement Documents, functional specifications, and test and user documentation.
+ Updates the Project Manager or Lead Functional Configurators on day-to-day activities and statuses.

+ Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
+ Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the results expected. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
+ May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees'' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.

*Work Environment
+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
+ Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
+ Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
*Education and Experience
+ Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.

In your role as a Master Data Management (MDM) / Product Information Management (PIM) Technical Expert you will work with business users to identify, scope, analyze and finalize requirements for an MDM / PIM implementation. This role configures MDM/PIM tools in support of business objectives. Ensure system issues are resolved in a timely manner. Leverage standard Issue, Problem and Change Management toolset in tracking and providing status on support work activities.
+ 5-8 years of Master Data, Data Analytics and Information Technology experience
+ Previous Technical configuration experience with Master data / Product Information Management tools such as Enterworks, SAP MDM, SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, Stibo Systems, etc.
+ Analytical and data driven mindset with strong problem solving skills
+ Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Quality, Data Integration and Technical configuration
+ Experience with project delivery methodology
