Position : MDM Integration Consultant (Data Architect or Modeler OR ETL - Informatica)
Location : Basking Ridge, NJ
Duration : 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:

The Data Engineer will work in DSPD to build foundational data capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience integrating data sets from wide variety of sources, developing and managing integration processes and MDM capabilities.
The candidate will work closely with Daiichi Sankyo data architecture team and business team to design, develop and deliver solutions.
Experience with data integration and master data management tools (Ataccama, Spark, Informatica, Data Stage, etc is a must.

Job Responsibilities:
Design, Implement and support data integration pipelines / processes that provide timely access to large datasets.
Build fault tolerant, self-healing, adaptive and highly accurate data platforms.
Develop MDM / Data Integration Platforms – using ETL Tools, Spark, Scripts, Data Quality Scorecards, Data Cleansing functions etc.
Develop design documentation, Installation Guides and Release Notes for all development efforts.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
5+ years’ experience in data integrations with ETL Tools ( Spark, Informatica, Data Stage etc. ) using disparate data sources such as flat files, databases, xml files and/or unstructured data & web services
2 + years’ experience with MDM Products ( Ataccama, Informatica etc. )
2 + years’ experience with building Data Quality processes / DQ dashboards.
2 + years’ experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, Red Shift etc
Extensive hands on experience with analysing and designing data models for Data warehousing and Transactional applications with high availability/ scalability & performance.
Strong in scripting (shell / perl etc
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
Ability to work independently and as a key contributor in a distributed team environment
Experience in Pharmaceutical industry - clinical Trials data, biomarkers , genomics data is a plus.
