Role: MATLAB Engineer or C++ Engineer with MATLAB Exp. (6 to 9 years) – Focused on other subsystem operations of the train (other than engine)
Location: Melbourne, FL
Duration: 2 Years
Essential Responsibilities:
The Lead Engineer will work on products catering to the Train Performance portfolio of GE Transportation''s Digital Solutions business, which includes energy management products.
Develop a subsystem through design specifications, failure modes and effect analysis, DFSS Scorecard, and system validation specifications
responsible for design, modeling, and validation of subsystem components
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation from reputed Institute/college/University
6 to 9 years of experience in an engineering position of Systems engineering, Control system design, Reliability engineering
Aerospace / automotive / locomotive hands-on domain knowledge
Experience in MATLAB / Simulink for simulation and mathematical modeling
Desired Characteristics:
Experience with embedded control systems
Experience with locomotive operations - maintenance, dispatch, crew, signaling
