Job Description : Skills and experience required
1. Search architecture experience using “Lucidworks Fusion”,”Solr”, “ZooKeeper”
2. have experience taking complex enterprise applications into production
3. Implement automated techniques and processes for the bulk and real time indexing in Apache Solr of large-scale data sets
4. Write efficient search queries against Solr indexes using Solr API and Fusion
5. Design, install, and Configure settings in Solr - Specifically in schema.xml & solrconfig.xml. 6. Troubleshoot Solr indexing process and querying engine
7. Used various feature of Solr like; filters, facets, grouping, stats, etc.
8. Good experience in knowledge of Java, J2EE
9. Experience with open source frameworks and tools such as Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Ant
10. Experience implementing RESTful and/or traditional web services using technologies such as JSON, SOAP, XML, JAXB
11. Experience in Hadoop, open source Crawlers such as Apache Nutch etc. will be preferable.
Responsibilities
1. Translates business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions by working with Business Analysts to understand business needs and functional specifications
2. Contributes to development, configuration, or modification of enterprise search solutions/implementations
3. Serves as a technical expert throughout the implementation and maintenance by leveraging partnerships with IT teams (e.g., Operations, Infrastructure, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts) and business leaders to resolve escalated issues
4. Supports systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for large, complex, cross-functional application initiatives by providing insight to testing teams in order to ensure the appropriate depth of test coverage
