This is a 2+Years project with our direct client CGI.

Position Description
CGI is looking for a Junior Level Java Developers / Big Data Developers to join their Federal Business Unit who will support the EPA account team. The project is a Service Oriented Architecture-based network that handles the exchange of environmental data between EPA and its stakeholders (states, tribes, municipalities, private industry The program builds, operates, and maintains this network and is responsible for building the data flows and environmental applications that operate on and integrate on the network. Developer must be a team player and follow the documented development processes. This is a dynamic position in an Agile environment - being able to communicate effectively and accurately estimate and hit sprint goals for time and date is essential. Your future duties and responsibilities

Applicants must have a majority of the following skills knowledge and abilities:
* 0-3 years overall IT/Software development experience
* Minimum 0-3 years of recent experience programming Java and working knowledge of Eclipse work environment
* Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or related field
* Ability to produce results within specified time frames
* Good understanding on NO sql Databases and should have min knowledge on Scala ,Spark or any Big Data tools.
* Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
* Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly use new technologies/frameworks to bring added value to customers
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
