Job Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer of Enterprise Productivity Development Team, you’ll be responsible for creating modern enterprise web and mobile applications. Our enterprise productivity development team uses a native application development approach to build compelling user experiences that range from employee social platforms and data visualization apps to task-specific tools related to internal processes. Our team uses modern, open source frameworks, Node.js, Swift, and Java to rapidly iterate our products and deliver new features on a regular cadence. We’re looking for flexible developers with well-rounded experience in various web UI and API development tools and platforms (Node.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, etc to help our team develop full stack applications including both mobile and web components.
Skills:
Successful candidates should be familiar with developing web and mobile apps for internal enterprise use, including common mobile security practices and enterprise deployment models.
You should have released at least 3-4 enterprise applications demonstrating your abilities as a developer.
Candidates must be comfortable working on a distributed team of developers to deliver new app functionality on a monthly release schedule.
You should be comfortable leading app architecture discussions, conducting code reviews, and enjoy coaching junior developers. You should have a passion for software development, beautiful c-ode, and a desire to continually learn new technologies and expand your skill set.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering
2+ years of experience developing modern web user interfaces using Angular, Reactive, and other modern front-end tools in additional to detailed knowledge HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
2+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs using Node.js or another open source API framework
Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, etc
Experiencing working within an Agile development environment and leading distributed teams of developers
Detailed knowledge of the Apple Human Interface Guidelines and/or the Google Material Design Guide
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience deploying and managing web and API platforms on AWS
Experience developing native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android using Swift or Java
1-2 deployed mobile apps demonstrating well-rounded mobile experience
Experience with Airwatch MDM platform and Android for Work
Experience working with Mobile Device Management solutions and other enterprise mobile management tools
An active portfolio on Github and/or open source contributions
