Position Title: Sr. Application Developer
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Denver CO
Preferred Skills:
7+ Years experience on CNET, Microsoft .NET technology, Oracle, SQL Server,Autosys.
Functions/Description:
Collaborate in the design of new/existing software, features, functionality and applications.
Build, test and implement new/existing software.
Deliver to aggressive product release schedules working as a cooperative team member in an agile development environment.
Assist in managing and maintaining existing applications/production support.
Works with other team members and business partners to decompose requirements into tasks.
Delivers to aggressive release schedules working as a team meber in an agile environment.
Produces technical specifications for required features and architectural/framework improvements.
Participates in design meetings, system analysis, research and peer code reviews.
Coding as needed to modify/add application logic
Application configuration as needed.
Ensures that code meets stated requirements and standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented best practices and performance.
Effectively functions and communicates within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance and business analysts.
Assists in the development of documentation such as design artifacts, unit tests, code, and fixes.
Responsibilities :
7+ years’ application development and implementation experience.
7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer/developer in CNET, Microsoft .NET technology
7+ years of professional experience in working databases like Oracle, SQL Server.
5+ years of experience on scheduling tool like Autosys.
5+ years demonstrated knowledge of Relational Databases including SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS.
3+ years’ experience building integrations using web service technologies (REST, SOAP/XML
3+ years ETL development using Informatica OR SSIS, or any other ETL technologies
Experience with workflow /issue tracking/project management tool like Jira and Serena
Experience in any reporting tools/platforms such as SSRS or Cognos or Crystal Reports etc.
Strong interpersonal and team player skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Finance Industry background/experience is a plus
PM/BA experience is a plus
