Job Title: SQL Analyst
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Redmond WA
We are looking to fill a long-term contract Analyst position at Microsoft in Redmond, WA.
Detail Oriented/Attention to Detail
Basic knowledge of SQL. Programming language is a highly desired
Basic understanding of local businesses.
Triage incoming user reported bugs
Triage incoming emails for team specific bugs
Verify current data for business/professional entities is correct and current.
o Use internet searches to verify businesses information
o Calling businesses directly to obtain correct information
o Make required changes and publish data
Escalation of bugs to other teams for corrections beyond our team responsibilities
Update bugs within Visual Studio (Team Foundation Server) with details of investigation and corrective actions
Quality checks on resolved bugs to verify correct published data
Investigative/Critical-thinking to find patterns, insights and trends in bugs
Using Excel to import data for creation of graphs and charts
Creating PowerPoint presentations for weekly team meetings
Building and presenting SQR presentations for associated teams and developers
