Software Engineer (Consumer Experiences - Mobile - iOS & Android)
We are looking for Software Development Engineers who will be responsible for building cross-platform, end-user facing mobile experiences & SDKs for real-time chat, messaging, on iOS & Android - using Swift, Objective-C, Java, JS & React and other emerging technologies + frameworks. We won’t put you in a box. Our technology is always adapting to “what’s next.” In addition to our in-house AI and messaging technology, we integrate with a host of partners including Watson, Apple, Google, Facebook and Microsoft, promising your projects will never get stale and you’ll never stop learning.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team (PM, UX, engineering, science) team to transform user stories into prototypes & production code
Thoughtfully apply UI design principles & best practices for mobile & small screens
Building & deploying user-facing features for multiple platforms inc. iOS & Android
Designing mobile SDKs for iOS & Android that will power high-scale applications
Identifying & eliminating perf. & scale issues that ripple from front-end to back-end

Minimum Qualifications
BA/B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Strong coding skills & ability to perform in a dynamic, agile & entrepreneurial environment
3+ years building complex applications for iOS and/or Android devices.
Deep knowledge and understanding of client-side architecture and experience building large scale web applications
Experience with Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa
Experience with Java, Selenium, Git & JIRA
Experience with React, React Native
Experience with multithreading programming
Experience writing unit tests and testable code
Experience designing APIs
