Title: LoadRunner Stress Testing Engineer

Note: Coding and test execution expertise with HP LoadRunner/Performance Center required.

Minimum Qualifications:

· This role will serve as a stress testing engineer on the Lending Stress/Performance/Load Test Team.

· This would include writing stress and performance test plans, creating and executing stress and performance test scripts, and leading the testing activities.

· The scope of this role encompasses handling the most complex quality assurance and test environment problems, and acting as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of the applicable technology, tools and existing designs.

· Acts as a lead in the creation, preparation, and execution of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts.

· Work with the development teams to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process.

· Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.

· Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.

· Oversees overall systems stress and performance testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.

· Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.

· Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less-experienced staff.

· Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.

· Plan and direct quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitor project status in comparison to cost/time projections.

· Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects.

· Document all phases of QA process.

· Direct and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff and collaborate with experienced staff. Detailed Test Planning and Execution:

· Analyzes highly complex business and technical requirements, designs, and translates into stress tests.

· Identify and secure resources necessary to conduct automated testing that focuses on all phases of test execution and planning.

· These resources will build confidence within the business that the processes and system will meet and/or enhance their business performance.

· *Create and manage stress testing schedule utilizing an integrated testing plan.

· *Create and execute stress testing scenarios and automated test scripts.

· *Communicate changes/impacts to the testing schedule throughout the project life cycle. *Ensure cross-team understanding and alignment for automation activities that may contain cross team impacts.

· *Ensure defects identified during the stress testing processes are logged, tracked and managed in order to trace the work with the delivery teams and technical development teams to fix and re-test.

· *Must provide clarity around the solutions so participants can clearly communicate back to the peer groups/teams.

Additional Duties:

· Continual evaluation and recommendation for testing process improvements and tool set enhancements.

· Coordination and communication of issue resolution across both technology and business teams.

· Research new products and industry methodologies and facilitate development of new concepts, techniques, and standards

· Formal and informal status reporting to project team and various levels of management.

· Expertise/current experience coding with HP LoadRunner/Performance Center.

· Preferred qualification: Candidates who have recommendation for rehire from their 1-2 most recent clients.
