Primary Required Skills:
1) Familiarity with Axeda or WindRiver or similar Remote Access Platforms that
work securely over the Internet with a view to doing OS Patching and Software
updates.
2) Efficient with the Linux platform including creating images for next generation
platforms and troubleshooting issues with drivers, hardware compatibility,
performance, etc while creating kickstart images
3) Strong Linux internals, Linux device drivers, Linux multi-threading, synchronization,
BSP development
4) Linux debugging using JDB
5) Handle on Device monitoring capabilities on Linux platform.
6) Good analytical skills
Functional Skills:
Debugs, troubleshoots, and isolates software and hardware problems
Contributes to and supports root-cause analysis of failures
