Job Description :
We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator on a full time direct employee basis. In this role, the Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for:
~ General application administration in a mixed Windows/Linux Virtual Environment as the third tier of support.
~ Multiple LAN/WAN Operations projects, capacity planning and vendor evaluations.
~ Manage multiple projects, and coordinates system administration activities.
~ Provides guidance and training to other team members and end users.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
~ Systems Administration in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux v5, 6 and 7 environment.
~ Apache/Apache Tomcat experience.
~ Scripting experience in Bash.
~ Logical Volume Manager.
~ Installing/administering/monitoring multi-layered applications.
~ VMware administration (vSphere 6.5+
~ Docker, Ansible, and Kubernetes a plus.
~ AWS, Azure, GCP (cloud services) a plus.
