Job Description/Skills needed:
As a Sr. Linux admin, primary responsibility is to automate day to day operations using scripts, standardize/upgrade puppet, cobbler, cleaning up mco, write code in perl or python, setup monitoring metrics such as Nagios, ganglia or similar and assist and manage day to day operations on engineering support.
Responsibilities:
Automate using Perl, Python and shell scripting
Support Windows, RHEL and SUSE platforms, VNC and NX
Provide assistance on escalated support to PSG Client engineering infrastructure
Train and share knowledge with junior Linux system administrators on automation and best known methods
Build configure and support VM’s, KVM’s and hypervisors
Trouble shoot complex technical cases on engineering infrastructure crossing multiple disciplines such as SAN, NAS, compute servers, LDAP, DNS and NIS
Support engineering LAB environment
Attend to Incidents and tasks from service-now and resolve as necessary
Prefer 10+ years of experience as Systems Administrator

Good communication skills in English and able to collaborate with the Linux, Storage and Computing engineering groups
