Title: Sr. System Admin w/ AWS
Length: 6 months -12 months+, contract to hire

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Engineer. This is a long term contract, highly likely to convert Perm sometime in 2019,
Position Description:
This role will be part of the team that builds, maintains and supports infrastructure, with a chance to join a rapidly growing company at the ground level. This is a very diverse, hands-on role, jumping in wherever needed and learning new things. Day to day could include any of the following:
Scripting in Bash or Python for Linux
Configuration Management
System Administration
Working with the AWS could infrastructure, standing up new hardware and servers, tearing them down, rebuilding, etc
Firewall administration
Pitching in to help with projects like Elasticsearch
Mobile Device Management
Active Directory
Looking for a strong Linux Sys admin who has experience with windows as well, and who is comfortable building things in AWS.
They use DevOps from a Systems side and Ansible for standardizing servers, hardening and such.
Candidate needs to understand Ansible but from a Systems side of things. Team is using DevOps to centralize all servers not for DevOps production pushes.

Required Skills:
#1 skill is attitude, personality, desire to learn new things, and ability to work with limited supervision. Must be driven and able to be collaborative
Bash or Python for Linux/Unix
Sr. Level Sys Admin skills
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google, Azure), standing up servers, rebuilding infrastructure, etc.
Self-starter, very proactive, able to work with minimal supervision. Need someone who can find problems and fix them, without requiring daily direction.
Strong experience with Linux (majority in Linux) w/ some experience around Windows as well.
Additional Skills:
Elasticsearch would be a huge plus because they could help with an existing project
