Our client is a global information technology, consulting and out sourcing company providing services to Financial, Manufacturing, healthcare, telecom and media industries. They are currently looking for a Linux System Administrator for long term project in New York city, New York, United States, 10019, below is the detail requirement.
Required Technical Skills:
3-5 years Linux Administration (preferably in large/distributed environments)
Strong overall infrastructure knowledge
Strong Networking and storage skills
Experience in full-stack troubleshooting
Intermediate experience working with any scripting language (examples: Python, Bash/Shell and Perl)
Required Soft Skills:-
Must be a strong individual contributor with a proven history of team-work and cross-silo problem solving
Open minded and willing to listen to all possible solutions to technical issues, implementing the consensus- Self-motivated and organized
Proven problem solver, we are looking for someone who goes beyond identifying problems, a track record of fixing identified problems is key
Qualification:
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent, with minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in Linux System Administrator .
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
