Job Summary :
We are looking for someone that will provide excellent Customer Service to our internal customers and external partners through our ticketing system and other communication. You will work across our company HQ and Regional offices to provide world-class customer service and be responsible for engineering, support, and maintenance of Linux and Storage Systems including backup and archiving. Part of your duties will be managing our system maintenance including patching and version control also monitor the IT environment, looking for potential issues and initiating mitigating actions as appropriate

Responsibilities:
2 /3 line support and administration of Linux, Storage and Backup technologies, adhering to our service
Management processes, SLAs and Information Security Policy
Provide excellent Customer Service to our internal customers and external partners through our ticketing system and other communication.
Manage the system maintenance including patching and version control
Proactively monitor the IT environment, looking for potential issues and initiating mitigating actions as appropriate
Participating in projects for integration of new applications into our company technology stack
Ensuring consistency across territories in key technologies
You will work across to provide world-class customer service to all users of Linux, Storage and Backup systems, comprising:
Redhat Enterprise Linux / CentOS
Cisco Fibre Channel SAN
DellEMC Isilon
DellEMC XtremIO
DellEMC Data Domain
HP BladeCenter and Blades
HP Synergy
Oracle ZFS
Violin Memory Systems
Other technologies as required
Multidimensional application of knowledge from CPU through FC or IP network, to a storage array and back.

Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years commercial IT technical support experience working successfully in a large scale and complex service management environment
Demonstrable knowledge of support systems and processes coupled with strong analytical skills
Previous experience in providing excellent customer service to customers at a variety of levels
Experience with Hybrid array or enterprise array
Experience with Enterprise Backup and Recovery
Working expert knowledge of server infrastructure and administration for Linux kernels


Preferred :
Experience with Hadoop Cloudera
Experience of ITIL based best practices
Shell scripting experience
Enterprise Monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, ElasticSearch, Splunk, etc)
