Job Description:
8 + years Hands-on experience in supporting complex 24x7 infrastructure systems and interconnected technologies that require day-to-day support and administration in order to maintain optimum performance and utilization
Hands on experience of key technologies,
Solaris, RHEL, LVM/VxVM, VCS/RHCS, NetBackup, EMC/HP SAN/NAS storage.
Unix Server administration (HP-UX,IBM-AIX, Sun Solaris, Redhat Linux)
Experience on EMC Storage Products like Clariion, Symmetrix DMX-3, DMX-4, V-MAX and VNX Storage Arrays
Experience in Managing activities like Zoning, Port allocations and Troubleshooting on SAN Fabric
Proficient in everyday jobs like troubleshooting the SAN environment, allocating storage, monitoring and Reporting
Proven experience in supporting HA, Storage, Backup, Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery solution
Provide production support for the Enterprise Solaris/Linux infrastructure with a solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating system
Good troubleshooting skills with knowledge of key operating system concepts such as paging and swapping, inter-process communication, file system concepts, disk management/partitioning, network, storage
Address incidents/problem tickets in Unix infrastructure within a timely manner
Analytical and Communication skills
Project and talent management
Experience with project management
Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
ITIL process knowledge
Project may require working in shift on rotation basis based on business need .
Should be ready to provide on-call support for critical incidents
Resource should be GC or US Resident only.
