Job Description :

1. Network Management and Understanding of Subnets
2. Understanding of Switches and Proxies
3. Linux Operating Systems

This person reports into DevOps lead, they will take over day to day duties and work with developers to deploy apps.
Should have knowledge of how to VPN into Amazon environment; the team no longer works on Windows, they work 100% in Amazon.
Also looking for strong knowledge of Linux, with CentOS being a plus.
Minimum 3 years managing infrastructure. Also looking for someone who works well within a team and is comfortable asking questions.
Experience managing Virtual infrastructure or EC2
Knowledge of AWS Technologies e.g S3 storage, ALB/ELB, Security Groups
Understand of VPNs and Proxy Servers (OpenVPN)
Have good understand of Infrastructure security and good security practices
Knowledge of CentOS Linux
Be comfortable troubleshooting Linux OS and knowledge of common Linux command tools
Proficient at using monitoring systems like Nagios, AppDynamics
Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch a plus
Hands on experience with Chef, ChefStack, or OpsWorks a plus
Be familiar with concept of CDN (e.g. Akamai)
Experience configuring LDAP Server a plus Desired Characteristics:
