Job Description :
Role: AWS Linux Automation
Location: Tampa, FL
Software, service and system deployments, updates, and management and maintenance thereof using puppet automation modules in AWS including commercial, FOSS-based and internally developed products and services.
Improved and adapted automation scripts for monitoring and support of complex, high-availability applications. Scripts shall use industry-standard tools of Linux and AWS, in addition to Puppet.
Documentation and reviews of system architecture with automation for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
The support of internal customers, external customers, corporate IT, and vendor IT at superior levels of consultation and follow-up. This includes supporting upgrades and resolution of production problems in a timely manner for operational systems.
Communication and collaboration with developers, vendors, and professional organizations to plan Linux automation approaches for implementing new systems and services.
Occasional after hours and weekend support as emergencies, deployments or on-call support requires.
Provide cross-team coordination for these efforts.
Provide developed and refined Scrum backlog items and burn-down completion estimates for these efforts.
