Required Technical Skill Set
Linux admin
Strong networking skill
Ansible/Python/Good scripting skills d) around 8-10 years of experience
Activities would include:
1. Understand basic DB principles
2. Troubleshoot tickets in regard to database issues
3. Install, configure and catalog database connectivity (DBMS client) software on application servers
4. Capacity planning for customers maintain server availability
5. Server restores
6. Manage change windows for database environment related changes (i. e. DBMS software or instance/database configuration
7. Configure DBMS software (i. e. database servers, database connectivity servers) on database servers.
8. Identify application databases that will be impacted by DBMS software upgrades
9. Execute DBMS software upgrades
