Title: LifeRay Administrator
Location:Boston, MA
Duration: 6+Months
Interview:Phone and Skype
Technical –3-5 years of technical experience, Liferay portal or elastic search preferred. Experience working with Oracle database, identity management system, familiar with LDAP, Active Directory and Single Sign on implementation methods
Job Responsibilities :
Monitor Liferay portal system to ensure quality service
Manage the execution of all portal change requests which includes portal configuration changes and content changes
Perform new environment standups as needed
Manage the shutdown, recovery and testing of all impacted applications during operating system patching cycles
Manage Liferay administrations and user/group as required
Coordinate with System, Network and Enterprise Application teams to trouble shoot any portal related issues
Cross team mentoring and training to assist in propagating application knowledge to other team members
Qualifications:
Must have 3+ years of hands on experience supporting Linux based applications
Familiar with Apache server administration and configuration, and optimization for performance
Proficient in writing and maintaining scripts to automate system tasks
Experience or knowledge with Liferay and Elastic search is preferred
Experience working with Oracle database
Experience working with identity management system, familiar with LDAP, Active Directory
Knowledge of different Single Sign On implementation methods
