Role: Level 2/3 System Engineer

Location: Chadds Ford, PA [regional candidates ONLY]

Duration: Multi-year

Interview: Second-round, face-to-face interview MUST

Job Summary:

This position performs design, installation, configuration, and maintenance, of various Windows applications, integration testing, along with support for related utilities and server hardware. The candidate will also deploy new releases as well as troubleshoot and resolve escalated complex system administration and user issues.

Summary of the Essential Functions of the Job:

· Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure

· Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

· Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

· Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes

· Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

· Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

· Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

· Provide 1st and 2nd level support

· Liaise with the business and other IT personnel for problem resolution

· Technical Lead on multiple projects

· Develop solutions to reoccurring issues

· Maintain business relationship between the business and the various vendors

· Create written policies and procedures



Preferred skills and experience include:

· Active Directory experience:

o GPO experience creating and managing.

o ADFS experience

o PKI\Certificates

· VMware ESXi 6.0

o HA and DRS

· Windows 2008, 2012 and 2016 Server knowledge:

o DFS\FRS

o NTFS

o Troubleshooting Terminal Servers

· Support for MS Exchange 2010 and Office 365

· Monitoring tools:

o SolarWinds

o SCOM

· Power Shell experience

· Working knowledge of VCE vBlock.

· Working knowledge of SAN

· Microsoft Key Management service

· Service Now experience



Qualifications:

· Minimum 4 years previous relevant Systems Administration experience required.

· Excellent customer service orientation and follow up skills required.

· Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly, in a fast paced changing environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization required.

· Proven track record of taking initiative and delivering solution oriented results required.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within teams required.

· Ability to work required shifts including weekend, evening, and on-call as necessary required.

· Must be able to lift 50 + pounds required.

· Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent applicable experience required.
