Learning Management System & Training Coordinator

Novato, CA

Duties: General Coordination Responsibilities
Partner with Novato Training Team to perform coordination activities for learning and development program training and events
Coordinate logistics for learning events including schedule, room, food, materials, registration, confirmations, transportation, materials reproduction and equipment arrangements
Communicate appropriate training program details to clients including registration, training objectives, course duration, date/time, and pre-work information
Support marketing and communications of learning & development events to effectively promote learning events
Maintain ownership of training events, course catalog information and training calendar
Track costs related to training logistics and associated with training delivery and ensure alignment with overall budgets
Coordinate day of details, catering and payment with vendors
Streamline training coordination processes to gain efficiencies

ComplianceWire (LMS) Administration
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of LMS system features, limitations and processes
Receive, triage and process applicable tickets from intake system in a timely manner
Create, build and update training items, curricula, user groups, and assignments in LMS system in accordance with department procedures per requirements in training SOPs.
Assign and remove curricula and training items within a learner’s development plans as required
Assist and act as backup in collecting, reviewing, and entering On The Job training records in the LMS system with accuracy and in a timely manner
Identify potential issues or gaps and ensure they are quickly communicated to training management
Report out progress to Project Lead on weekly basis
Actively participate in required training and project team meetings

Skills:
Experience working in a Learning Management System or database applications
Demonstrate high level of organization and ability to prioritize a high volume of work, ensuring attention to detail, and accuracy within the required timeframe
Team player with a proactive mindset
Advanced skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think critically and work independently
Ability to work at a computer greater than 6 hours a day
Ability to lift, transport and deliver materials for logistics support

Education:
Bachelor''s degree preferred
3-5 years of related work experience, project/program coordination and Learning Management System experience preferred
1-3 years of professional training or training support experience preferred
