Lead or Senior DevOps Developers
Cincinnati OH
Must be GC our USC
10 month Contract with extensions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Analysis, design, building and maintenance of DevOps-enabled applications
2. Collaborate with DevOps Engineering personnel to develop proficiency on capabilities they provide
3. Partner/embed directly with application and operations teams seeking to adopt DevOps practices
4. Edify/train application team personnel on DevOps practices
5. Partnering with key stakeholders across IT apps and ops teams
6. Collaborating with architecture, risk, security, audit & ITSM personnel
7. Contributing to the formation of emerging DevOps best practices at
8. Assist with POC efforts for new DevOps capabilities and tools as necessary
9. Learning corporate standards and policies as well as understanding underlying rationale
10. Provide assistance as necessary to support staff working on incident/problem remediation
11. Troubleshoot technical issues as required
12. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable experience
2. 5 years of experience working on DevOps solutions or comparable application development required
3. Understanding of DevOps principles required
4. Understanding of software development lifecycle stages required
5. Understanding of IT operations, especially change & release management, required
6. Understanding of ITIL service management principles a plus
7. Proficiency with REST API and webhook development a plus
8. Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Groovy required
9. Proficiency with linux and windows shell scripting required
10. Experience with git-based VCS required (GitHub a plus)
11. Experience with build and dependency management tooling (Maven, Gradle, etc required
12. Experience with binary artifact management tooling required (JFrog Artifactory a plus)
13. Proficiency building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins required
14. Knowledge of Java and .NET based application packaging, deployment and hosting required
15. Knowledge of IBM z/OS mainframe based application packaging, deployment and hosting a plus
16. Experience with SonarQube, ARA and APM tooling a plus
17. Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS/Azure) and supporting technologies (OpenShift) a plus
18. Experience with Ansible Tower a plus
19. Experience integrating with Test Automation tooling a plus
20. Experience integrating with Secure Development tooling a plus
21. Experience working with enterprise-level frameworks/services a plus
22. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
23. Excellent teamwork/collaboration skills required
24. Experience working within Agile scrum methodology a plus
