From the client: I''m looking for a lead and sidekick to assist with a mobile
application. Details are below and in the JD This could go 12 months
This project is looking to kickoff the last week(s) of October/the first
week of November and most likely, go through Oct 2018.
They are looking for the team to be on-site for the first 3 weeks (ideally 1
month) and then can sit remote for the development portion.
The consultant may have to go on-site for an occasional sprint (of
development work), but will complete most all remotely.
95% sure the cloud solution is AWS (confirming Also, I''m asking if
Cassandra can be replaced with a different skill - TBD.
Position Overview:
The person will help build (with a small team) a custom mobile application.
The application will collect data from field equipment through CAN bus and
then publish the data in a cloud based solution.
The application will also allow the ability to provide invoices to their
customers. The application will have many other features, but these are a
few to give an idea.
Position Requirements:
6-8 + years'' experience developing with Xamarin NET and mobile)
Experience working in Azure
Ability to build and develop scalable, custom-built
object-oriented applications
Great OO skills, including strong design patterns (MVVM) knowledge
Experience working with Agile Scrum Methodologies
Experience working in Apache Cassandra (NoSQL database)
Team members should enjoy mentoring and sharing knowledge
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or degree in
related field
