Description: eDataForce Consulting LLC is seeking a “Lead Cloud Computing Analyst” in Fort Worth, TX for a contract-to-hire position.

Candidate Must be strong w/ Orchestration (Vrealize) and Power CLI

Responsibilities:

Deploy the release of new technologies as well as support, design, install, configuration, and management of virtualization infrastructure and related services
Lead problem-solving efforts, often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations
Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance and security
Maintain a strong understanding of emerging practices in Cloud Computing, including Storage and Networking
Develop and maintain procedures and documentation for operation and restoration of systems and applications
Provide leadership in planning and implementation of projects for server operations and enterprise architecture
Monitor the proper operation of the data center and computer systems including hardware, software and equipment

Requirements:
_
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar field
5-7 years of recent full-time experience managing enterprise-class virtualization environments or the equivalent experience
Experience with cloud management and orchestration frameworks (vRealize Operations and vRealize Automation)
Experience with VSphere PowerCLI to automate and manage configuration of VMware vSphere
Experience with data center virtualization (VMware vCloud Suite, etc
Familiarity with the principles of data center virtualization (VMware vCloud Suite, etc
Experience maintaining SAN specifically Dell Compellent Storage Systems and cloud storage environments
Experience managing a VMware VSphere environment
Strong experience and understanding of networking in order to understand the full solution

Preferred Qualifications:

VMWare certification
Scripting experience, preferably with PowerShell
Experience managing or leading a team a plus
Experience with a VSphere migration from 5.5 to 6 as well as going from a physical VSphere to a virtual one is a BIG PLUS
Experience managing private, public, and hybrid-cloud topologies including storage, network, and compute resource interactions
Experience managing software-defined networks (VMware NSX)
Experience with disaster-recovery and business continuity solutions in a virtualized infrastructure
Experience maintaining SAN and cloud storage environments
Excellent Communication is a MUST
