Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide guidelines, reviews and support to developers and business analysts creating unit tests and integrating them into the build cycles.
Lead QA teams performing testing activities, including UI automation, integration testing, performance and scalability testing
Develop Test cases per the Business Rules to direct others on testing requirements.
Review and provide guidance on the test scope and output of testers performing testing
Facilitate, record and capture information from demos and user experience sessions.
Create status reporting mechanisms to monitor the status of the above activities
Host integration discussions, with representatives of all test teams, identify and help resolve road blocks
Ensure that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase and final acceptance
Prepare test protocols and reports which meet regulatory requirements, during the final test cycle
Help keep test processes streamlined for efficiency
Be the primary advocate for the adoption of methodologies which are appropriate for the project.
Build, Execute and Evaluate functional and performance tests of application code, APIs and Web Services

Required Skills:

Experience in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Programmer- The Authorized User may seek Specialists in the following areas (list is not exhaustive):• Backup and Recovery• Security
7 years of experience as the lead project tester
At least 5 years of combined experience working with at least three of the following industry leading test tools: IBM Rational Test Suite, Micro-Focus QA Suite, Smartbear QA Suite, Katalon and/or Microsoft Testing Suite. Experience must include the design, build, coding and execution of automated test functions
At least 5 years of experience in creating SQL queries to validate correct back-end processing
At least 5 years of experience with JAVA script/VB script, Selenium
At least 5 years of experience in testing web services and APIs including functional, integration and performance tests
Bachelor’s Degree or greater in computer science
