Job Description:
Plans, designs, develops, and maintains a complex application including the integrations.
Take ownership for project issues and drive results for the project.
Estimates time against defined programming tasks and can contribute to overall project planning and estimation process. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Works with business unit stakeholders and Functional Analyst team members to develop requirements, architecture, and software as needed. Assists other developers in architecture and problem solving. Creates detailed technical documentation for existing and newly developed solutions.
Performs code reviews and design sessions with team members and technical management.
Capable of directing and being a technical lead to a development team including those offshore.
Designs, codes, tests, and documents software programs for systems of moderate to high complexity as per the requirement specifications.
This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. This individual is expected to be creative and a skilled problem solver with the ability to understand broad system-wide impact of design and development solutions.
Leads investigation of requirement gathering and can prepare technical specifications documentation.
Determines resolution of complex software development issues that may arise in a production environment. Supports existing software application for incident management, problem management, and release management.
Prepare and deliver clear and concise oral and written communications.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively present information to most audiences.
Gather and analyze critical information needed to understand problems. Determine the underlying root cause of complex problems and issues. Make logical decisions by understanding the pros, cons, tradeoffs and timing.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and effectively prioritize tasks with minimal direction from supervisors.

Skills with Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, MSSQL Server, IIS

Bachelor’s degree in CS/MIS or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
Experience with Agile/Scrum/Lean methodologies.
5+ years’ experience with including APEX and Visualforce
Experience with the Lightening platform and the creation of lightening components is a plus
Solution delivery experience integrating Salesforce to other systems using REST or BULK API’s
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
Demonstrate knowledge of various Salesforce products (Sales, Service, and Marketing clouds)
Salesforce certifications preferred
Some hands on experience with Java 7 or Java 8 is considered a plus
Previous knowledge in DevOps tools like GitHub, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Stash, Docker is considered a plus
Some knowledge of JSON, REST, Micro Services Architecture, Cloud Computing platform (Amazon Web Services and EC2), Distributed Architecture, Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL (Cassandra or Mongo DB) and Build tools (ANT, GIT) or related technologies is desired
