REQUIREMENT:


Lead SAP ABAP Developer – 6 to 12 Plus Months -Orlando, FL


QUALIFICATIONS:
HCM and/or HR module knowledge and experience
Minimum six (6) years of experience as an ABAP developer
Minimum 2 years of significant SAP integration using Web Services / Web APIs
Experience with SAP’s enhancement framework for modifying existing SAP applications
Experience in documentation of development objects
Design Scalable and efficient solutions to projects
Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical expertise to developers
Ability to transfer knowledge effectively to developers and Business process specialists through documentation and/or training
Experience with iCIMSs integration with SAP preferred, but not required.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead SAP HCM ABAP Developer for the HCM HRIS functional area
Perform as a technical resource in HCM HRIS functional area
Review and understand business requirements and convert technical specs
Responsible for creating/changing/leveraging existing ABAP components
Responsible for changing Webdynpro (ABAP and Java) applications
Experience integrating SAP with other applications creating and consuming Web APIs
Experience integrating SAP HR module with other SAP modules (FI, PA)
Lead complex solutions with minimal supervision and strong collaboration with management, project teams, and Senior Business Process Specialists, along with the ability to guide or mentor less senior IT staff
Developing and delivering SAP workflow-based solutions
Perform unit and integration testing
Analyze processes and identify solutions using best practices and industry standards
Defect resolution including debugging complex scenarios
Experience consuming RESTful Web Services/Web APIs and parsing JOSN using ABAP
Manifests a professional code of ethics and values
Ability to work as part of a team with staff or other departments
Status reports will be submitted by firm per an agreed upon schedule in a format designated by OCPS’s project managers
