Job Description :
Lead Test Automation Analyst with at least 5 years EXCLUSIVE experience in using QTP/UFT and VBScript and leveraging Quality Center/ALM as repository for managing and executing automated tests.
Using QC/ALM to for storing, managing and executing automation QTP/UFT scripts and associated assets • Pulling automation metrics from ALM using custom reports and OTA scripts, • Analyzing requirements, tests and execution data extracted from ALM using excel reports/macros and presenting finding in PowerPoints • Debugging and fixing broken QTP/UFT scripts • Handling dynamic objects using descriptive programming and other methods • Developing custom error handling and reporting methods • Working with a group of automation engineers in different time zones • Follow existing framework of automation • Developing complex scripts using VBScript • Creating user defined functions using VBScripts and QTP/UFT • Working with stakeholders, gather and document automation requirements • Estimating automation effort, conduct cost benefit analysis and prepare ROI calculations • Creation and delivery of presentations to all levels of audience • Creation and execution automation project plans with tasks, timelines, resource assignments, milestones • Automating tests with minimal direction, should be able to work independently • Collaborate with the Release Deployment team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test and release validations
