Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree; preferably Computer Science major or related discipline.
Proficient with Open Source/Microsoft/Java technology stack.
Expert-level hands-on development experience with Web Services
Expert level web-based development experience using Django, AngularJS, XSL, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
Expert level experience with SQL queries and stored procedures
Good experience in developing software that runs on a Linux environment.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work on multiple activities with speed and efficiency.
Strong object-oriented programming skills.
Strong understanding of version control systems.
Ability to work collaboratively within high performance team environment.
Aptitude for continued growth and development of technical skills/abilities.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating within and across cross-functional, agile teams to deliver software that achieves business objectives
Coordination of efforts between the Engineering, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Product Management.
Mentoring more junior developers and peers
A ''One Team'' mindset in which success is achieved through the success of others
A “Systems Thinking” approach that ensures solutions solve the problem at hand within the construct of a larger platform
A consultative approach to evangelizing concepts and teaching others to fish
Nice to have
5+ years of development experience with Python related open source technologies
Experience with Django or related MVC framework
Experience with at least one NoSQL database such as Redis, MongoDB
Experience with React/AngularJS or similar front-end frameworks
Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Docker, Jenkins
