Job Overview:
As a Lead Python Developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients.
Responsibilities
-Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
-Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
-Develop full stack applications in languages such as Python, React, Angular, Java and Node.js.
-Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
Qualifications
-5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total
-Deep native Python development experience building enterprise solutions that are highly available and have high performance/low latency.
-REST services development using Python.
-Experience with a modern UI framework such as React is highly desirable.
-Experience developing secure solutions. PCI experience is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of Linux.
-Experience developing solutions on cloud platforms is required and RedHat OpenShift experience is a very strong plus.
-MongoDB and PostgreSQL experience are highly desirable.
-Java development experience is a strong plus.
-Very clear communication skills. Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence.
