Position: Lead Python Developer– (Data Centers, Automation, Load Balancing)
Location: Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX
Responsibility: 1 year long term & probable extension afterwards
Lead Python developers with experience working in Infrastructure (Data Centers, Automation, Load Balancing) and Azure Cloud Data Center environments. Candidates must have Lead, Python and Infrastructure experience. This is a phone and Skype to hire. Candidates in Georgia or Texas with a LinkedIn profile preferred but not required. The client has indicated there could be some flexibility in rate so please send to me even if they are over the target.

Must Have Skills/Experience: Demonstrated Python and/or Java Script experience, preferably in a network or infrastructure environment. We reiterate, if not strong w/Python and, or Java Script, this will not be a fit. This candidate will work within an Agile team and will need to be able to work well in a collaborative environment.
Our client is automating their network infrastructure including load balancing, DNS/DHCP/IPAM and implementing a pseudo-SDN (software defined network) infrastructure in our data centers, and automating cloud provisioning within their Cloud Connect Centers and cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform and Azure. This position may also be required to work in other Network Engineering areas such as store/non-store networks and Unified Communications, but the initial assignment is for the Data Centers.
Overview: The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for joining a product team and contributing to the software design, software development, and overall product lifecycle for a product that users love. The engineering process is highly collaborative. Lead Software Engineers are expected to pair on a daily basis as they work through user stories and support products as they evolve. Lead Software Engineers contribute to foundational code elements that can be reused as well as architectural diagrams and other product-related documentation. In addition, Staff Software Engineers may be involved in product configuration, performance tuning and testing as well as production monitoring. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a core player on the product team and are expected to build and grow the skillsets of the more junior engineers.
