Title: Lead Performance Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 months

Key Skills: Load runner+ Jmeter + Business User interface experience

Job Responsibilities:
Strong experience with JMeter and Load Runner, Unix commands and scripting to gather system KPIs, DB performance monitoring using native tools.
Demonstrated ability to identify performance critical business flows for enterprise web apps and to identify the right load models, etc., to accurately measure performance, scalability and reliability.
Proven ability through work experience to not only measure and report, but analyze the observations to help the teams quickly root cause the issue. Candidate needs to be familiar with Java and DB performance bottlenecks and how to identify them based on the observed data.
Strongly proactive and articulate in engaging with the stakeholders including management, to drive the performance testing effort and to help focus the team’s attention and drive resolution when necessary, to important performance issues affecting critical applications.
Ability to tune enterprise web app components (JVMs, app servers, Databases) is a definite plus.
Define Performance Test Strategy for system under test and Create Performance Test Plan.
Ability to explain Performance Test concepts to project leadership
Ensure that Performance Testing is adhering to the test methodology
Create improve testing methodology as needed
Set up performance test environment and provide direction on hardware and software requirements. Define Performance planning, framework and execution
Performance planning forecasting, monitoring, diagnosis, testing, tuning and capacity planning and strong expertise in Performance/Load & Stress Testing using HP Performance Center /Load Runner and JMeter.
Analyze requirements - functional and performance; performance data, transaction volume, application usage and client profile models; developing projects, processes, strategies, standards, test plans, test cases, scripts and scenarios; conducting tests and preparing analysis reports. Planning and execution of large scale benchmarks.
Provide performance analytic reports and demos to the management and the project teams.
Prepare documentation for Internal Audit
Specialist in resources monitoring - client, web, application, database and service; identifying performance bottlenecks; performance tuning and capacity planning. Develop and use static performance analysis tools

Mandatory Technical Skills:
At least 3 year work in a position responsible for defining performance and/or automation testing approach, planning and/or strategy
At least 7 years of experience performance and/or automation testing custom or ERP and Web applications using industry accepted tools such as Load Runner and JMeter or similar.
Strong Preferred Skills
Hands on experience with HP UFT
Salesforce.com experience
Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle activities
Test Automation Experience, Programming Experience
Personal Attribute
Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on Performance Testing role.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication & influencing skills.
Good analytical, diagnostic and creative problem solving skills.
