Job Description :
Role : Lead Application Support
Location : New York, NY
Duration : Full Time
Experience : 8-10 Years
Primary Skills : Application Support, C/C++, RHEL, LINUX/UNIX, DBMS, DB2/SQL Server/Oracle

Summary:
Provide L3 Application Support, drive status meetings, take requirement and work with offshore for delivery. Be a single point of contact for customer.

Must Have:
Good working knowledge in C or C++ language
Ability to analyse, debug and test code in C/C++, RHEL based environment
Application build, release and deployment on target environment
Scripting knowledge in shell or other language
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills in multi-tier environments
Good understanding of Linux / Unix operating systems including system administration skills
Client interfacing skills, proven experience of stakeholder management, onsite co-ordination activities
Basic understanding of DBMS system

Nice to have:
Understanding of Erlang application development including cnode, amnesia DB etc.
Knowledge of any other functional programming knowledge
Motivated and to explore new technologies with minimal help from team members
Working experience in DB2 / SQL Server / Oracle
Working Knowledge of middleware products like IBM MQ series, or any other messaging system like TIBCO,MSMQ etc.
Simple understanding of Java language or worked in any web based UI project (to understand web server, https communication etc
