Lead Database Administrator - Mainframe
duration - 06+ Months
Location - Fort Worth, TX
Rate - Open all incl on C2C
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and three to five (3–5) years as a Mainframe Database Administrator experience to include TSO/ISPF, IMS/DB, CICS and DB2 with a good understanding of CA-Compress, GT Software’s IVORY and BMS/TS, Cobol, CA-Top Secret, MVS, JCL, H&W software’s SYSD, CA-SYSView, VTAM and CA-ENDEVOR.
2. Installs and maintains IBM DB2 and IMS/DB database software.
3. Maintains all databases, database software and related products.
Maintains and tunes databases for performance; database tables for application systems and all documents.
4. Must adhere to industry best practices, change control policies, and service level agreement compliance.
5. Experience in software lifecycle and code analysis.
6. Able to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Extreme attention to detail is mandatory.
8. Able to communicate user system requirements to both technical and non-technical County staff and vendors.
9. Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to solve the most complex problem accurately, completely and quickly.
10. Able to participate in multiple projects concurrently without loss of quality of any project.
