We are looking for a Data Governance Lead to help establish Data Governance and Quality Management program. This role will be responsible for drafting and enforcing policies around processes related to data in partnership with the business teams and the executive leadership. In working with internal stakeholders from business and IT, the Data Governance Lead will be play a critical role in developing data definitions and data models to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse.


Establish a Global Federated Enterprise Data Governance Program of our core data assets, which will aid the broader business goal, of creating self-service analytics capabilities.
Define, document and implement policies around processes and data governance. Drive adoption and track progress.
Develop an inventory of all the information across the enterprise, to drive accountability through a trustee-stewardship model.
Provide periodic updates to the executive leadership on Data Governance, progress, its impact on the overall enterprise.
Document data lineage across the enterprise, so data can be threaded across the organization for seamless analysis.
Implement an enterprise framework to improve data quality, through driving changes to organizational behavior, processes, tools, data architecture and systems.
Facilitate a model for bringing together business teams and IT to resolve issues related to data governance and quality.
Utilize data profiling and data quality tools to expose and determine causes of data quality issues and proactively manage them.
Collaborate with data owners to address data quality related issues and put plans in place to avoid reoccurrence of those issues.
Review the current data landscape and future data requirements to design a conceptual/business data model.
Work with line of business functional leads to establish an Identity and Access Management model, for securing data and its availability to users.
Define the key performance indicators (KPI), goals and metrics around processes for scorecards to track the health of the business.


At least 9 years of experience in the area of Master Data Management and Governance.
Prior experience in implementing and managing Data Governance and Quality programs.
Experience with Data Quality tools to profile, cleanse, standardize and enrich data.
Experience in driving requirements for Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence programs.
Experience in creating conceptual, logical data models.
Prior experience in working with global and virtual teams.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as being a self-starter of improvement projects.
Be able to work in ambiguity and make sense of the unique requirements of the business.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Experience in Data Modeling and Architecture is desired.
Exposure to SAP ERP, processes and data modules is a plus.



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Need to possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners and all levels of management.
Must work efficiently, independently with accuracy, maintain confidential information, exercise sound judgment, and make accurate and timely decisions.
Have experience and the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment, and have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be able to handle situations where during an outage, clear and effective decision making occurs.
Excellent trouble shooting and support skills.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
This position will be primarily in an office environment but will also include warehouse, manufacturing plant and other locations.
There may be international travel.

Job requires both sitting and standing and agile flexibility to move and connect equipment in various set-ups. Excellent vision, hearing, speech and motor skills are required to perform essential functions of the job.
