REQUIREMENT :


Lead Automation Test -Dallas ,TX - 12Plus Months Contract - Prefer “ LOCAL” Candidates if Possible .


Job Responsibilities:
Automation test lead for a 2-person automation test team
Interact with development team to understand architecture and service layer requirements
Review and understand business requirements and use cases.
Create test automation scripting from validated functional business requirements.
Debug existing scripts and interpret log files for maintenance
Create and execute SQL queries and validate databases using an automation tool.
Evaluate reported defects and oversee re-testing of prioritized defects.
Work closely with developers and testers as needed to create and maintain scripts, and log defects.
Prepare test data or work with data analysts to define test data needs.
Log defects with associated documentation using JIRA; work with development team to explain and help resolve defects.
Provide status reporting; attend daily stand up meetings when working in an Agile/Kanban/DevOps team.
Quickly learn and understand requirements and existing applications that are undergoing upgrades.
Maintain complete confidentiality of client business and strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in automation testing
Hands on automation experience at least 70% in last 2-3 projects
Experienced in web automation testing
Experienced in these tools:
JIRA
Bamboo
Confluence
GIT
SharePoint
Generally broad tools experience; able to learn new tools quickly
Experienced with JIRA tool for work assignments and logging defects
Good understanding and hands on experience in Java or Groovy scripting
Strong knowledge in source code management and familiar with Git commands
Experience with continuous integration tool Bamboo
Good understanding of the entire project life cycle, QA methodologies and processes, including Agile, Kanban, and continuous integration methodologies
Successful hands-on experience in working with an onshore/offshore distributed testing model
Must have good organizational skills with ability to think on his/her feet
Knowledgeable in different automation frameworks
Strong, effective interpersonal and communications skills; able to interact professionally with client management, architect, development, and testing team members.
Strong experience with industry-recognized QA estimating tools and techniques.
A self-starter, motivated to take ownership of projects and drive tasks to completion.
Experience with hotel property management systems and reservation systems is a plus
