Job Description :
The nationwide industry leader has an immediate 2-3 month contract opportunity in Plano, TX for a Lawson HR/Payroll Functional Support Expert. This is an onsite, project-based position with an estimated 40 hour work week. Will partner with the HRIS team and Developers to implement needed changes/updates to Lawson in a HR/Payroll fashion.

This individual would be responsible for the following:
Analyze and update Absence Management system and all current plans to function properly based on jurisdictional requirements.
o Base functionality.
o Functionality for transferring between plans.
o Functionality for tracking FMLA eligibility.
o Balance Audit.
o Training on future plan creation and updates.
Testing for recent development changes pertaining to pay rate changes and historical errors.
o Correcting historical errors once testing completed and fix implemented.
Auditing HR super table and deptcode/deptcodetag tables for cleansing.
Analyze set up of 401K catch-up and match and determine best approach for proper calculation.
Set up of deferred compensation plan and match; determine best approach to making more efficient.
Analyze set up of personnel action automation.
o Turn off automatic tax code changes.
o Turn off automatic seniority date changes.
Properly implement pay ranges for ALL positions.
Create pay ranges for Puerto Rico.

The ideal candidate would have experience with the responsibilities above in addition to:
10+ years of Lawson HR/PR experience.
Project Management experience.
Managed Lawson implementation/upgrade and integration projects.
