Job Description :
Good experience with laboratory information management system: Mandatory
Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions in Lab Informatics area
Strong skills and knowledge of methodologies associated with analysis of processes and problems, information flow and architecture for LIMS systems (SampleManager LIMS, Star LIMS, LabWare LIMS etc
Broad knowledge relating to software design
Thorough knowledge of business processes and procedures
Handle scheduling and delivery of client requests pertaining to LIMS analyses, specifications, and other master (static) data
Troubleshoot problems associated with configuration, including interviewing users to understand the source of problems and/or business needs
Provide training, guidance and support to the validation team members, from an operational, technical and scientific perspective
Create and execute test cases and test scripts including unit, integration and acceptance testing before general release
Experience with other Lab Informatics systems line Empower, Nugenesis, CDS is added advantage.
The LIMS Analyst to function as implementation and validation lead for Thermo’s SampleManager LIMS. This role is responsible for wide range of duties to include understanding requirements for upcoming releases, coordinating the related changes, and to guide validation team to perform successful LIMS validation. This role requires a thorough knowledge of SampleManager and/or StarLIMS or LabWare LIMS with emphasis on customer relationships and supporting the processes throughout the project cycle
