Location : Columbus,OH
As the Kubernetes Platform Developer, you will assist in a mission critical technical implementation into a large retail organization. The Platform Developer will support the services deployment of one of the newest technologies within the cloud container space. You will be providing integral technical skills to set up environments, pipelines, and deployments of applications onto the Kubernetes platform company wide. The team is in an internal race to be the first movers utilizing the Kubernetes platform.
Responsibilities
Supporting Kubernetes Platform and platform services deployment
knowledgeable in automating build and deployment process using cloud formation templates and Ansible to deploy Kubernetes platform
Assist operation engineers in debugging deployment issues and fine-tuning deployment scripts of Kubernetes platform
Design, Develop and maintain existing automation scripts
Work with operation engineers to setup CI/CD tools to deploy to Kubernetes platform
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer science, Math or related field
Software development, design architecture and/or implementation experience
Experience with Google Cloud, Ansible, shell scripts
Familiar with Operations tools like VROps and Ansible
Knowledgeable in Source code repository like GIT/BitBucket
