Job Description:The client is migrating from Kronos version 6.1 and moving to the Kronos Private Cloud version 8.0 as a Software-as-a-Service customer. Client is seeking a Kronos Consultant who will provide Client employees with a better understanding of the potential project scope, objectives, and strategies, and to provide an analysis identifying functional and technical issues, business requirements, and implementation strategies for replacing the legacy system.

The Kronos Consultant will serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert of our current 6.1 version of Kronos and our later Kronos version 8.0.13.
This position is primarily responsible for the technical implementation, cross functional training and Kronos product knowledge transfer, work with users to analyze, design, develop, write test scripts, perform system tests and implement programs to meet special and on-going needs of Client as it relates to the Kronos Time Management system.
This includes understanding and configuring interfaces from Lawson 9.01 to Kronos.
This position requires scheduled and unscheduled work outside of regular business hours.


Engage with our employees to understand their business needs regarding the Kronos application.
Support in the Migration from Kronos 6.1 to Kronos 8.0 Cloud
Assess the current Kronos 6.1 system and perform a gap analysis
Support in the migration of hosting servers and Kronos database from Primecare to Kronos
Carryover existing functionality and configurations from Kronos 6.1 to Kronos 8.0 Cloud
Take advantage of new features and configurations in Kronos 8.0 Cloud and implement respective best practices where beneficial to the organization
Document current to future functional processes
Implement two separate testing environments for the Kronos 8.0 Cloud testing and conversion efforts
Assist in designing and building a solution that meets our needs.
Work cross-functionally and amongst a team on new client implementation, upgrade, and change order projects.
Provide significant transfer of Kronos product knowledge to our Business Users.
Create detailed functional and technical design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary.
Develop scalable and efficient interfaces between Lawson and Kronos, custom reports, and other programs needed to solve business requirements.
Leading the design and development of custom interfaces, programs, and reports within the Kronos application suite.
Provide technical and business systems support by utilizing Kronos Workforce Central Products.
Conducts business rule analysis by collaborating with business users, and colleagues to design, develop (including functional/technical specifications), test, and implement functionality using various Kronos configuration tools.
Understands and configures interfaces using Workforce Integration Manager (WIM
Develops and maintains documentation such as technical end user guides and procedures.
Assist users to develop, maintain, produce and distribute standard and custom reports, queries and interfaces.
