Role: Kafka/Cassandra Platform Support Personnel
Work Location: Denver, CO
Duration: 12 Months
Minimum Requirements
7 - 8 years in platform setup of large and business critical systems using.
3 – 4 years of experience on Apache Kafka platform set up and support
4 - 5 years of experience in troubleshooting production issues and engaging the vendors effectively
3 - 4 years solid Cassandra configuration and Support experience in managing mission critical multi-cluster environment and architecture
2 - 3 years of strong experience with Ansible fundamentals and platform administration
2 - 3 years of experience in design and implementation of various projects throughout AppDynamics
2 - 4 years of in depth knowledge of Unix environment that includes shell scripting
Experience in building, deploying and managing services and applications in Hadoop platformis a plus.
Experience in build systems such as Maven and Ant and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/GoCD
Experience in software debugging and performance tuning
Candidate must have experience in supporting performance intensive, high availability application
Strong skills in solving complex problems
Works well in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strict adherence to development standards
Preferred Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills; capable of writing recommendations and interacting with company personnel on complex topics.
OpenStackIaaS or PaaS experience will be add on.
Must to haves: ?
Apache Kafka platform administrations.
Cassandra set up and administrations.
Good to have:
Ansible infrastructure experience.
App Dynamics configuration
Demonstrated experience of participating on teams of technical experts in a diverse, fast-paced, 24 * 7 environments.
Proven experience meeting large deliverables with fixed and aggressive deadlines.
Ability to present clear, concise reporting on concurrent projects and issues
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
