Position: Kafka Admin
Location: Dallas, TX
Contract Duration: FTE
Interview Process: 2 rounds of Webex
Visa : USC or GC
Looking for the following skill-sets with this candidate,
1. Hand-on experience in standing up and administrating on-premise Kafka platform which includes creating a backup.
2. Experience managing Kafka clusters both on Windows and Linux environment
3. Exposure and understanding of best practices in stream management & processing
4. Knowledge of Kafka API (development experience is a plus)
6. Exposure and Knowledge of managing streaming platform on cloud provider Azure, AWS & EMC would and added advantage
The client also wants to setup the streaming platform with a very specific configurations and built-in architectural constraints. Some of the identified NFRs and constraints are as follows,
