Role: Junior Security Administrator - Unix
Locations: Ashburn, VA
Duration: 12-18+ month project
Must be US Citizen or GC Holder.

Reviewing logs on a daily basis

Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for assisting in security projects including
audit review of logs and various projects within Neutral Controls team.
Under direct supervision, assist in the integrity of the operating systems
environment (Unix, Linux, Windows, Etc
Will work with security team to audit the servers and system admins access
and commands.
Assists in the development and implementation of security procedures.
Responsible for the monitoring and tracking of security and relevant events.
Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring
security profiles, reviews security violation reports and investigates
possible security exceptions, updates and maintains the documented security
controls.
Experience with application security concepts.
Experience with UNIX of various kinds are mandatory.
Must have good communication skills and must be willing to work a flexible
schedule.
Experience with UNIX and *NIX logging and hardening.
Must have a passion or serious interest in Cyber Security.
1-3 years relevant work experience required.
