Job Summary:

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to participate in the creation of new products and features, from the idea stage to launch. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in end-to-end project management. Your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and improving overall user experience. Our ideal candidates should combine technical background with a Business Administration or Marketing degree. Ultimately, you’ll work with internal teams to build products that fill gaps in market and increase customer satisfaction. The best candidate can be a liaison between product managers and product owners to ensure implementation of planned epics align with acceptance criteria In this job it will be required of you to collaborate with technical team members to determine the scope of features and develop release plans while evaluating new approaches or tradeoffs in order to maintain product documentation, including near-term delivery/releases.


Essential Job Functions:

Work with the team to define and prioritize customer user stories for developers and quality assurance (QA)/user experience (UX) associates to complete tasks
Support Product Management and Technology Development teams to drive execution of the customer journey amongst various product portfolios
Collaborate with software developers to complete user interface (UI) development, testing, and release planning Liaison between product managers and product owners to ensure implementation of planned epics align with acceptance criteria
Collaborate with technical team members to determine the scope of features and develop release plans while evaluating new approaches or tradeoffs
Maintain product documentation, including near-term delivery/releases; report to Product Management team on progress and coordinate with them on where adjustments need to be made



Requirements:

Ability to identify metrics and key performance measures and use that data to drive decisions that enhance the customer experience

Proficient experience using Microsoft Office and Atlassian products

* Atlassian products like:
Jira, Confluence, HipChat, Bitbucket, Bamboo, FishEye, Crucible, Clover, Trello, SourceTree, Crowd, StatusPage

Preferred:

Ability to utilize web metrics, customer metrics, and internal operational metrics to summarize and make enhancement recommendations that clarify the product vision and improve upon the customer experience
Travel to collaborate with software developers on user interface development
