Job Description :
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities cover three areas: 1) Installation, configuration, and ongoing support of Microsoft Windows Client/Server systems.2) Installation, configuration, and ongoing support of multi-vendor TCP/IP LAN/WAN.3) Help desk level support of user population (includes OFFICE application support, security software support, email and remote access support, backup, and printing)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Microsoft Client/Server Architecture - must be experienced in supporting Active Directory domains.
LAN/WAN network - must have a good basic understanding of networking fundamentals including DHCP, TCP/IP addressing schemes, name resolution, firewalls, and VPNs.
Help desk support of user population - must have a good understanding of Windows XP Professional and Advanced Server 2003 Operating Systems, and the Microsoft Office application suite of programs.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent plus 4-6 years of related experience.
0-2 years supporting Microsoft Client/Server Architecture - must be experienced in supporting Active Directory domains.
0-2 years supporting LAN/WAN network - must have a good basic understanding of networking fundamentals including DHCP, TCP/IP addressing schemes, name resolution, firewalls, and VPNs.
